To book a title drag a title to a member with the right mouse button pressed.

Video Star shows you when the title is available. It may not be available if it is on hire or previously booked. The store may also be closed.
When the shop is closed affects booking availability. The "Options" dialog box allows you to specify when your store is closed, and other things.
The completed booking shows up in that member's copies window. (Note the small "B") .

Every day there is the possibility of bookings which have to be reserved by taking them from the shelves. You can get this list by clicking "Bookings" on the toolbar.

Likewise, if a member does not collect a booking, it is no good to you if it left reserved, so you must clear this reservation. This list is also available by clicking "Bookings" on the toolbar.
